Our final project for CGT 262 involved building a high-end home based off of existing house plans. This was first semester using Autodesk Revit and I learned the ins-and-outs of the residential industry.

Thankfully, my knowledge of residential houses from my summer design internship helped when creating the construction documents.

 

When it came to the project, we had free rein when it came do designing the interior room layouts and the exterior of the house but most of the wall dimensions and door placements were similar to the original floor plans.

This project gave me confidence and a passion to continue making residential floor plans.
